Yoga Therapy Sessions
Customized yoga therapy and long-term programs for neurological and neuromuscular conditions, movement disorders, therapeutic rehabilitation, cancer recovery, chronic pain management, and improving range of motion. Sessions are provided in-home by a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist practicing under the guidelines of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

NeuroSupportive Yoga Therapy | Specialized yoga therapy and support for neurological conditions such as MS and early or late onset Parkinson's, ALS, Ehlers Danlos, partial paralysis, stroke recovery, post-polio.
Yoga for MySelf ™ | Yoga therapy specifically for those living with MS, with a focus on self-care and ability rather than dis-ability.
Simply Yoga Therapy | Yoga therapy for early or late-onset Parkinson's, modified to accommodate freezing, dyskinesia, rigidity, or general weakness.
WellBeing Yoga Therapy | Gentle, supportive yoga therapy for those in treatment and recovering from cancer. Sessions are in-home to reduce stress and fatigue.
Yoga Therapy for Scoliosis & Back Pain | Yoga therapy for idiopathic a degenerative scoliosis, as well persistent, unresolved back pain due to neurological conditions, injury, disability.
Yoga for Chronic Pain & Anxiety | Yoga therapy to calm the mind, ease anxiety, and let go of patterns which may cause chronic pain. Offered in-residence as well as the workplace.
Yoga Therapy for Sleep | For those experiencing chronic sleep issues, something as simple as a carefully guided yoga therapy session can bring sleep and serve as a long-term self-practice for assisting in falling asleep.
Yoga Therapy for Amputees | Specialized yoga therapy for amputees and amelia. Whether due to cancer, diabetes or injury, limb-loss is not only a physical happening: it may alter the emotional, mental, and for many, spiritual outlook on life and living.
Yoga Therapy for Disordered Eating | Yoga therapy for women of all ages who need support and a foundation for facing, or recovering from, an eating disorder. Food is not an enemy, but can perceived as such when societal norms influence body-image, or when anxiety, emotional and physical trauma, or life in general affect one's ability to cope. Supportive therapy with an experienced yoga therapist may be beneficial in reducing overall anxiety and creating an outlook of compassion, rather than judgement or criticism, for oneself.
Yoga Therapy + Walking + Nature | Yoga therapy as gentle movement therapy, combined with the opportunity to walk-and-talk, or appreciate nature in silence. This is a good fit for those who need some supportive motivation to move, whether due to chronic pain, fatigue, or wariness due to balance and gait issues.

Yoga Therapy Groups | Common interest groups with a specific therapeutic focus and diagnosed condition. Modules include an extensive, in-home intake session with a C-IAYT yoga therapist and weekly (12) group sessions.
Supportive Therapy Sessions
Lifestyle choices, self-care, as well as physical and mental wellbeing are part of overall health and the healing process. Sessions are provided in-home in Bloomington and Indianapolis / Columbus areas. Supportive therapies are long-term, flexible options for ongoing therapeutic care, recovery, and support.

Lifestyle Therapy and Yoga Therapy for Women | Supporting women in life and living through the practices (non-physical and physical) of yoga therapy and lifestyle therapy—emphasizing stability, self-reliance, and resilience during life-changes, health challenges, and through the various roles a woman may take up during the course of a lifetime. For women, yoga can be particularly beneficial if the focus is on grounding, self-care and inward balance, rather than the modern-day focus on hyper flexibility and over-extending oneself.
Comprehensive Therapy Programs | Integrative programs incorporate Yoga Therapy, specialized bodywork, and long-term support for neurosupportive and neuropalliative therapy, cancer recovery, therapeutic rehabilitation, disability. Comprehensive, personalized therapy provides extended therapy and support through one practitioner rather than many, and may be particularly beneficial for those with lifetime conditions or requiring a long-term recovery period.
Holistic Nutrition | Whole-person nutrition ranging from learning the basics of wholesome, healthful eating, to recognizing, understanding, and managing emotional eating and disordered eating. Nutritional guidance is offered as part of our supportive therapy programs—Mentoring for Women, Food for Thought Yoga Therapy™, Second Nature Yoga Therapy™ and Comprehensive Therapy Programs—recognizing the relationship between our mental and physical health, the environment, and the food we take in. Individual, in-home consultations; cooking for family health; learning about organic vs. non-organic, whole foods vs. processed; understanding simple yet important principles of nutrition, lifestyle habits, and general health. 1.5 Hour Session | $165
Therapeutic Thai Bodywork addresses the body as a whole rather than targeting only specific, isolated issues. Sessions may include passive range of motion, joint mobilization, neuromuscular therapy, acupressure, visceral manipulation and lymphatic drainage. Our Thai bodywork is based in the Thai medicine tradition and is focused on treatment and healing— not popularized, acrobatic techniques. We specialize in therapy for neurological conditions, pain management paralysis, and injury recovery. Clients remain fully dressed during sessions, providing ease and convenience. *Sessions include traditional Thai herbal compresses*
2 Hour Session | $295
Equine Therapy for Horse & Human | For clients with a neurological condition or disability who are seeking a stride in the right direction, both for themselves and their horses, Equine Assisted Therapy can be part of a Comprehensive Therapy Program or Mentoring and Lifestyle Therapy. Sessions are at your location. Please speak with us about coming to your location outside of Bloomington. A travel fee will be assessed based upon distance / location.
Appointments are offered at the client's location (residence, clinic) in a broad service area including Bloomington, Columbus, Indianapolis. It is hoped that providing individualized therapy sessions and therapeutic programs at your location will bring some ease and convenience for those who find movement challenging, are easily tired due to illness, or require in-home therapy due to injury, disability, or other circumstances.
Due to the nature of healing, supportive care and sustainable self-care, all therapies are provided for a minimum of three months. Clients may then choose ongoing therapy on a modified schedule. Comprehensive therapy programs, mentoring, and neurosupportive therapies may be extended indefinitely. We do not require advance payment.
We recognize that COVID-19 has created added challenges and considerations for many who are already facing life-challenges, and life-altering changes. For those who are immunosuppressed due to DMTs, autoimmune conditions, or cancer treatment, as well as those who are vulnerable to infection or complications, we are happy to say that our therapies have been offered in a safe, non-clinical environment—your residence—for more than twenty years. Please ask us about therapy sessions during these times of social distancing, including what steps and precautions we will take both prior to arriving, as well as in your home. Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status.
Repeated cancellations and abuse of policies affects client scheduling and opportunities for others to receive care. Please consider others when cancelling or rescheduling.
Payment is expected at time of appointment. We accept checks or cash, or pay securely online by credit card or PayPal. Online payments must be pre-approved and incur a nominal processing fee.
